Ghost Town

This series captures the essence of Blaenavon, Wales, a former coal mining town, now a world heritage site. Once vital to the capitalist expansion of the UK, it now stands an industrial relic. The unchecked industrial growth that generated significant wealth for a select few has inflicted deep wounds on the lives and living conditions of many communities in Wales. This series pays tribute to the futility of human endeavor, highlighting communities that were exploited and abandoned, fading into poverty while capitalists seek new opportunities away from coal. What remains are fading memories.
