I first visited this unused cemetery in 2021 then returned in 2024. It was intriguing to witness an empty cemetery decay, devoid of flowers, vases, and photos—just the bare structure, stripped of emotional meaning. In 2021, discovered that it had been repurposed as storage space for Christmas decorations, increasing its surreal atmosphere. Upon my return in 2024, I noted changes: tombs covered in lichens, overgrown trees, cracking concrete and the broken doors of the columbarium. Recording the passage of time in a place were time stand still, the cemetery slowly withering away, is an ironic fate for a space that was meant to last forever.
