Coronadiaries: Views from the Van (2020-2022)

Throughout the pandemic, I volunteered for a charity focused on collecting and redistributing surplus food from supermarkets to various charities and community organizations. Daily, I traversed Birmingham, delivering essential supplies to food banks and community groups. Each outing in the van resulted in one photograph, capturing seldom-seen areas of city, and this collection spans both lockdowns. The "Views from the Van" series serves as a visual chronicle of the deserted streets, spaces, and industrial zones I encountered, highlighting the monotony of lockdown life and the eerie essence of empty cities.
